What's On in Stockbridge This July: Events, Markets & Things to Do
If the recent heatwave is anything to go by, summer has well and truly arrived. Thirty degrees in Edinburgh? We never thought we'd see the day.
So while the sunshine lasts, dust off the linen trousers, flowy dresses and sunglasses and make the most of everything happening in and around Stockbridge this July. From food festivals and live music to markets and summer strolls, here's what's on this month.
Enjoy the Summer Sunshine
Long evenings and warm weather call for getting outdoors, and fortunately Stockbridge has plenty of ways to make the most of it.
Pack a picnic and head to Inverleith Park, wander through the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, cool off with a swim at Glenogle Swim Centre, or simply treat yourself to a well-earned ice cream from Joelato before strolling along the Water of Leith.
With Scottish schools breaking up for the summer, it's also the perfect time to enjoy some family-friendly days out close to home.

One of Stockbridge's favourite summer destinations is still going strong.
Running from 1 May until 2 August, Neighbourgood Market at Edinburgh Academical Football Club continues to bring together independent Scottish food and drink traders, live music and a fantastic atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for lunch, evening drinks or a weekend catch-up with friends, it's well worth a visit this July.

Neighbourgood Gardens Opens

From 23 July until 31 August, the team behind Neighbourgood Market will be taking over the iconic Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens with their brand-new venture: Neighbourgood Gardens.
Expect independent food and drink vendors, live music, entertainment and one of Edinburgh's best festival settings, all with spectacular views of Edinburgh Castle.
Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival
